We do ask that an adult is present at the property when we arrive to hand over your dog and again when the session finishes. For the duration of the groom itself, everything takes place in our van, so you're free to get on with your day at home. We'll knock on the door as soon as your pup is looking their beautiful best!

We groom all breeds — from tiny Chihuahuas and Shih Tzus to large Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and everything in between. Whether your dog has a short, smooth coat or a long, curly, or double coat, we have the skills and tools to give them the best possible groom. If you have a specific or unusual breed, just give us a ring and we'll be happy to chat about what we can do for them.
The length of a session depends on the size of your dog, their coat type and condition, and the services required. A small dog with a straightforward coat might be done in around 1–1.5 hours, while a larger dog or one needing a full clip and style could take 2–3 hours. We never rush — we take the time needed to ensure your dog is comfortable and the result is perfect.
We can work with dogs that have some matting, but severely matted coats can be uncomfortable and even painful for your dog to dematting. In cases of extreme matting, the kindest solution is often a close clip to remove the matts entirely and let the coat start fresh. We will always discuss the best course of action with you before we begin, keeping your dog's welfare as the top priority. Regular grooming appointments are the best way to prevent matting from occurring.
Absolutely, and this is actually one of the biggest benefits of mobile grooming! Anxious dogs often find the one-to-one environment of a mobile van far less stressful than a busy salon full of strange dogs and noises. We are patient, calm, and experienced with nervous dogs. We take things at your dog's pace and make plenty of time for reassurance. Many previously anxious dogs have become regular, happy clients with us. Please do mention any anxiety when you book so we can plan accordingly.
Yes! Early grooming experiences are incredibly important for setting your puppy up for a lifetime of stress-free grooms. We offer introductory puppy grooms designed to gently familiarise your pup with the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming — the bath, the dryer, the clippers — in a calm and positive way. We recommend starting from around 12–16 weeks, once your puppy's vaccinations are complete. Ask us about our puppy introduction sessions when you call.
We use high-quality, professional-grade dog grooming shampoos and conditioners that are gentle on your dog's skin and coat. We stock a range of formulas including options for sensitive skin, whitening coats, and deep cleansing. If your dog has a specific skin condition or allergy, please let us know in advance so we can select the most appropriate product — or you are welcome to provide your own vet-recommended shampoo for us to use.
